Got Bugs?

After meeting Will at Starbucks in Green Bay, he took me on three house calls for pest control near Lambeau Field. When we arrived at each customer's house, he would back into the drive way, check with the house resident on what he will be doing and start the generator for the sprayer in the back of his pickup. He walked around the house with the sprayer on a long hose and sprayed the outside walls of the house top to bottom and around windows as well as around pools, sheds and swing sets.

He said his dad started the business after working for Orkin. Will would shadow his dad on Fridays after working four tens as an auto mechanic. Eventually, he got more involved in working for Bug Blaster and today he is running the business. Will is in charge of the other guys doing pest control for Bug Blaster from Fon du Lac to Upper Michigan and Kim in the headquarters, who keeps everything running smoothly.

The last stop on morning house calls was a follow up on a Mist Away installation. The backyard had an issue with mosquitoes, so Will installed Mist Away to control outdoor mosquitoes. He checked the sprayers on the trees facing the woods, among the landscaping and along the structures and ran a spray test. He said the sprays are automated to run in the morning and through the day to maintain the mosquito control.
