Background/Approach
Roger Keepers, is a true Dr. Doolittle.  He has a genuine way of talking with dogs and teaching dog owners how to be better owners.  His business started many years before the 'Internet', working with dogs of all species and owners from all over the state of Wisconsin.  Roger contacted N.E.W. Results, LLC to enhance his existing website.  He purchased a content management website from a company in Milwaukee, but was never shown how to use it and keep it up to date. 

Solution
Jeff worked with Roger to gather requirements and create a website that reflects the true mission and vision of Rodak Dog Training services.  In addition, Jeff provides Roger with website maintenance and updates on a regular basis.  In the past two years, N.E.W. Results, LLC has worked with Roger to rework his photo albums so more puppies can be seen.  Roger breeds and sells German Shepherds so he wanted a way to showcase more dogs, particularly puppies. 

Results
Rodak Dog Training has seen an increase in business for both training and breeding since the start of the website.  Roger also feels that the website gives his business some added credibility by being on the internet, accessible to customers 24x7.  His contact us form is also tailored to ask questions specific to qualifying customers.  Rodak Dog Training hosts an average of 450 unique visitors each month.  We recently updated Roger's site with a new photo album for dogs and pupplies.  The custom admin area allows Roger to upload images with the click of a button.  The system automatically resizes images and places them on the site.  He can also drag and drop the images in the admin area to a new position and they will automaically adjust on the front-end of the website.  This AJAX technology is very new and makes the user experience fun and easy to manage.

Malcore Central Vac's Inc.

Background /Approach
Malcore Central Vac’s, Inc. services home builders, contractors, commercial / industrial customers, and residential do-it-your-selfer’s.  Their primary product line is central vacuum systems and accessories, but they also offer Iron Away ironing boards, commercial central vacuum systems, and Vroom vacuum units. 

When Dori contacted us they didn’t have a website site.  She wanted to provide their customers with a way to learn more about them, buy products and accessories, and keep up to date with the latest product changes.

Solution(s)
We proposed the standard 4D approach: Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy.  We met with Dori to gather information and define requirements.  We learned that she’d like to have an e-commerce website that would allow people to buy right through the website and notify her when orders came in.  This opened up her customer base to more than local customers.  With an e-commerce site availble twenty-four hours a day, sales could happen any time of the day, from anywhere. Once we developed the site, we added different products, images, and separated them into categories.  The products catalog allowed multiple images, product categories and attributes, along with keywords and related products.  Each order placed through the site was assigned an order number and tracked with an order status.  If the order status was updated, an automatic email would be sent to the customer notifying them of the change in status.   

Results
Once this went live, they ended up getting Vacuflo accessory and central vacuum orders from several states around the United States.  The site was an immediate success.  Business has grown for Malcore Central Vac’s, Inc. due to this website. 

Following deployment we worked with Dori over the next few months to tweak the site and make sure the images and product content were correct.  We also trained her on how to update the product information using the admin area. 

Malcore Central Vac’s, Inc. worked with us again about four years later to redesign their site into what you see today; a combination of PHP and Flash technology.  They decided to remove the shopping cart functionality and offer only product information.  This site continues to be a valuable source of information for her customers. 

This is a site that we help Dori maintain through a services contract.  When she needs a change, we make sure it’s done correctly and on time.
